The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum features a world-renowned collection of maritime artefacts and navigational and surveying instruments. The Museum exhibits a range of nautical equipment, models, photographs, paintings, drawings and objects relating to the history and heritage of the Jervis Bay area. The museum is also the home of theLady Denman Ferry.
The museum is close to the entrance into Huskisson. As well as being an information centre for the area, it also has an indigenous emphasis.They also hold a monthly market on the grounds.

Bay and Basin Leisure Centre
Family friendly. Café there as well so you can swim then enjoy a cuppa or watch the children swim while you have a cuppa. They also have a gym. Good place to visit if it’s raining and you can’t go to the beach.

Fresh Fish
Some of our guests may wish to purchase fresh fish to cook themselves. An excellent place is Nowra Fresh Fish and Meat Market. This is on the left as you pass through Nowra. Turn left down Moss Street to access it. Check their website for location and produce: http://nowrafresh.com/ There is also a fruit and vegetable shop at the other end of the carpark if you need these items.

Nowra Speedway
Fast paced family fun. They have a summer calendar of events which are held on Saturdays from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. A canteen provides hot food and snacks and a mobile coffee van is there for cappuccinos or hot chocolate. Shoalhaven Zoo
Shoalhaven Zoo, formerly the Nowra Animal Park, is an animal park on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

Families with primary age children and overseas guests would enjoy this zoo as there are many Australian animals in the zoo. When we visited with overseas guests, there was the opportunity to have our photos taken with the koalas. And when you have ‘walked your feet off’, you can stop in at the Shoalhaven Zoo’s café and gift shop.
Husky Ferry
The Husky Ferry operates between the Huskisson wharf and Myola.Myola is up the Currambene Creek and on the other side from Huskisson.Mostly runs during spring and summer and is available for hiring for special events.

Shopping – a variety of coastal and specialty shops can also be found along Owen Street.
Small supermarket in Owen Street, Huskisson – opposite Club Jervis Bay – Friendly Grocer at 66 Owen St, Huskisson.
Vincentia Shopping Centre has a Coles Supermarket – travel from Huskisson over Moona Moona Creek bridge and drive along Elizabeth Street until you get to the roundabout. In this shopping complex you will find Coles and many other shops.
Vincentia Marketplace – new shopping centre that has Woolworths, Aldi, chemist, medical centre, a number of different cafes and specialty shops. At the Elizabeth Street roundabout turn right into Wool Road and head towards Sanctuary Point. At the next roundabout turn right towards the shopping centre which is clearly visible from the roundabout.
