National Parks and Walks, Jervis Bay

When visiting Huskisson and staying at 62 Owen at Jervis Bay there are two spectacular coastal National Parks nearby for you to enjoy.

National Parks

Booderee National Park

Village Road, Jervis Bay

Booderee is home to one of Australia’s most stunning national parks. Crystal-clear waters meet beautiful white sand beaches, while high cliffs and historic relics overlook the majestic Pacific Ocean. Booderee National Park features extraordinary native wildlife and is adorned with expansive botanic gardens.

There is a fee to enter the park and the pass is per vehicle and for two days. There are lovely beaches to explore, picnic facilities, walks, Botanic Garden etc. We really enjoy visiting here.

Jervis Bay National Park

With its powder-white sands, crystal clear waters, forests, woodlands and wetlands, parts of this south coast park seem untouched by people. Its Aboriginal heritage, however, goes back thousands of years and local Aboriginal people maintain strong connections with the land. The park’s natural riches are the ideal backdrop for a daytrip or a weekend getaway in the great outdoors. Try the incredible White Sands walk and Scribbly Gum track, go swimming, fishing or snorkelling, or relax with a picnic and a throw of the frisbee.

Discover an array of birdlife, spot whales and dolphins and feel at one with nature in this very special part of the world.
